Whole House Rental

Alma House is a spacious 2-story, 7 bedroom, 5 bathroom rooming house with full kitchen and extra-large dining and living room right in the heart of town, with a gorgeous mountain view, and is ideal for large groups coming together to explore and play in the high country. Alma House can be booked as a whole-house rental, sleeping up to 20 people, and includes the entire main floor and upper floor as well.

Amenities

The large lounge and dining area is on the main floor along with our large kitchen, which is well equipped for cooking for groups, large or small, and even includes pantry basics like cooking spices, oils, vinegars, etc. Each of our bedrooms has beds and wardrobes, bedding, linens, towels, luggage racks, and USB plugs for your charging convenience. You will find all of our bathrooms stocked with bathroom essentials including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Should you need to do laundry during your stay our whole-house rental guests will have access to our laundry room on the lower level where laundry soap is provided by your hosts.

Pets
Pets are welcome with a whole-house rental only. We kindly ask that your pets be potty-trained, friendly and well mannered, and up-to-date on all of their required vaccinations. Our hosts are animal lovers and pets are required to meet our hosts. Per Town of Alma regulations, all dogs must be leashed in public areas. Alma House requires that all dogs be leashed prior to exiting the building. Please note the pet fee when booking your reservation.

Your Hosts
Your hosts, Sam and Hannah, reside on the property in an apartment on the lower level. While their apartment is inaccessible to guests the entrance to their apartment is through the back stairwell, which is separated from the private guest area by a code locked door. You may see them from time to time entering or exiting their apartment if you are in the lower level laundry or about town.

We are very easy going and delighted to have you at Alma House. Our goal is to ensure your stay is safe, private, and exceptional! Feel free to reach out if there is anything you need during your stay. Our contact information can be found in the welcome book upon your arrival.

Privacy and Security
Alma House is a private residence for our guests. All entry doors are coded doors, with codes provided to our guests within 24 hours prior to their arrival. Only registered guests of Alma House may stay overnight. Other guests may visit registered guests with prior notification to the hosts. Each of our private bedrooms has it’s own code-lock door with a unique code given to registered guests upon check-in. All guests will be required to present identification upon arrival.

Sleeping and Bathing at Alma House
Alma House has 3 queen bedrooms, 2 queen + single bunk rooms, one bunk room with 2 single bunk beds, and a bunk room with 1 single bunk bed. There are also 5 full bathrooms with showers (no tubs). Each or our bedrooms is has bedding, linens, and towels provided for each guest.

Parking
Alma House parking is dedicated for our guests only and can accommodate 10+ cars. If additional parking is needed, please let us know in advance of booking.

FREE WIFI
Working while on the road? We have free wifi via Starlink available so you can have those virtual meetings and send those emails before hitting the slopes or trails.

Check-In 10 a.m.
Check-Out 4 p.m.

You should receive a unique door code 24 hours before check-in. Sam and/or Hannah will greet you upon Check-In to give you a quick tour and answer any questions you may have. If you are going to be checking in after 5 p.m. please call or text 719-839-6310 to let Sam and Hannah know when you will arrive.

SMOKING POLICY: Smoking (cigarettes and/or marijuana~yes, we are "420 friendly") allowed OUTSIDE the building. We have designated areas for you to “park your butts”. County fire restrictions are strictly enforced. Mind your own 'butts'.
